The imminent unveiling by Europe of its Eco-design standard and associated use of seasonal efficiency ratings has raised the bar with respect to efficient air conditioning comfort. Daikin Europe N.V. is the first on the market with a full range of Sky Air indoor and outdoor units for light commercial air conditioning applications already designed for the soon-to-come seasonal efficiency (2013). Included in the new line-up are the FBQ-C8, FDQ-C and FDQ-B concealed indoor ceiling units.
Top efficiency, comfort for shops, offices, restaurants, small hotels
The concealed ceiling units – compatible with both the Sky Air Seasonal Smart and Seasonal Classic lines – feature an inverter driven DC fan for reduced energy use under all conditions. They are whisper quiet, with sound levels down to 29dBA, the equivalent of rustling leaves. Three-step airflow control allows optimum comfort in all conditions.
Flexible solution, easy installation
The concealed ceiling units are hidden away in the ceiling, with only the suction and discharge grilles visible. Installation in narrow ceilings, down to 350 mm, is also possible with an optional suction panel. In addition, the air discharge grilles can be installed separately from the indoor unit for installation in irregularly shaped rooms.
